I offer mindfulness, yoga, and emotional literacy programs for children, including private sessions, group classes, and professional development for educators and caregivers. I also provide NDIS support, working as a Keyworker to help children achieve their NDIS plan goals.
2. Who do you work with?
I work with children aged 4-12 years, including those needing emotional and social support. I also collaborate with parents, caregivers, and other professionals (e.g., therapists, educators) to provide tailored support for each child's unique needs.
3. What is the cost of your services?
My pricing varies based on the type of session (private or group) and the duration. Please contact me for detailed information on pricing, and I'll be happy to discuss the options that best suit your needs.
4. How do I book a session?
You can book using the contact form or by reaching out to me directly via email or phone. I’ll help guide you through the booking process and answer any questions you may have.
5. How long do the sessions last?
Sessions typically range from 45 minutes to 1 hour, depending on the type of program or service. This can be customized to suit the child's needs and availability.
6. Do you offer group sessions?
Yes, I offer both private one-on-one sessions and group classes. Group sessions are designed to offer children a chance to connect with peers while learning emotional regulation, mindfulness, and yoga practices in a safe environment.
7. What is the NDIS Keyworker role?
As a Keyworker, I work closely with families and a child's support team (therapists, educators, etc.) to help the child achieve their NDIS goals. I focus on capacity building, supporting emotional development, life skills, and building resilience.
8. What is your professional background?
I am a qualified and accredited teacher through NESA, as well as an accredited meditation teacher with Meditation Australia. I am also Children’s yoga therapy trained. All with 18 years of teaching experience. Within classroom in long day care. I also hold a Certificate in Children’s Yoga Therapy and specialize in emotional literacy and mindfulness practices for children.
9. How can mindfulness and yoga help my child?
Mindfulness and yoga support children's emotional and physical well-being by improving focus, building resilience, and promoting emotional balance. These practices also help children learn how to manage stress, enhance their self-awareness, and develop social skills.
10. Can I attend sessions with my child?
For private sessions, parents or caregivers are always welcome to attend and observe. In group classes, we encourage a supportive environment for children but ask that parents remain outside the session to allow children to engage fully with the group.
11. What is the cancellation policy?
I require 24 hours’ notice for any cancellations or rescheduling. If notice is not given, the session may be charged at full price.
